Jessica Hische is an artist, lettering designer, and author whose clients include Wes Anderson, the US Postal Service, Wired, Starbucks, and others. Her first picture book, Tomorrow I’ll Be Brave, was a New York Times bestseller. In this conversation, she discusses her early decision to become an artist; how she learned to accept that “what’s right in the moment is what’s right in the moment”; and how to manage introspection, self-doubt, and your time.
